Today we did a math 4 today that was very helpful for next weeks OAA. In social studies we watched a economics movie. In math we went to the computer lab and practiced for the math OAA. After lunch and recess we did a math guinness work sheet. Then we did an exemplar also practice for the OAA next week. In reading some people went to the library then we read.

4/23/12 Monday

Today was a good day. OAA week! In Science, we worked on something called Wisconsin fast plants! I wonder how fast they grow! We also worked with flips, slides and turns in math. Playing Blokus and other games was fun! In word Study, we learned about dictionaries, and parts of them. In writing we played Balderdash. In reading we finished our practice OAA reading booklet.

Today was a chatty day. In science we put seeds in a cup with a moist paper towel. We had music and we had a test on guitars. In word study we worked on a worksheet about vocabulary. In writers workshop we did the country mouse and the city mouse. After that we had silent reading, then we wrote in our planners and then packed up.

Today was a chatty. In social studies we learned more about Ohio's economics. In special  we had art  in art we had free art there was clay, yarn, puppets, dolls that you can dress, computers. In math we took a assessment parents  please sign the tests and send them back on Monday!! In spelling we did a spelling test. Today in writing we went to the computer lab and did wikis! In reading we did silent reading. Have a great weekend!!!

 Today was a chatty day!In science we put seeds in a  bag with water and a paper towel. Then we stapled  and put the seeds on them. In special [witch was music] we started guitar. Today in math we worked  on volume. In readers workshop we did another practice OAA section.

  Today was a awesome day. In science the seed we soaked  were so cool. In math we played a game and then we cut and made our own 3-d shapes! In spelling we sorted our words. Today in writing we worked on our personal narratives. Then in readers workshop we did a practice OAA section. At the end of the day Mrs. Lambright gave us reeses cups as a special treat!!!

Today we had a Substitute teacher from 11:00 to 1:45. Her name was Mrs. Cowser. In Math we did GEO boards. In Writing we wrote our Personal Narrative Stories.

Tuesday, April 3

Today was a spectacular day. We had a fantasy and science fiction lesson on how to tell them apart. In Science we watched a Magic School Bus video. We are studying Life Science. It was about flowers. In Writer's Workshop we continued with our stories. In Math Mrs. Lambright helped us prepare for the OAA (Ohio Achievement Assessment).

Today was an okay day. We were super chatty. In the morning we shared what we did on Spring Break. In math we did a Exemplar worksheet. Exemplars are challenging worksheets.
